Guess the doors are open, had to wear a mask, be nice to the door greeter, and say 'Hi' to the pretty ladies inside. Totally took the wait for a friend guitar in lap and had a listening experience with the super quiet but off the wall unnoticed bouncy way of the Weber freezers. Those who cold shouldered me in ear rejecting no show. I found my friend.

It's a library, quiet, very empty of people and very full of books. Sections taped off. Only every other computer is available and only for a half hour. It is ghostly and a little nostalgic. There isn't any groups, there isn't any kids playing on the stairs. There's still the cafe where you can get a cappuccino and read the newspaper.

-A Word of Caution- I like this library, but recently received a $45 fee notification for a book that was claimed to be "irreparably damaged". I was shocked, not recalling damage on any of the books I had returned. When I went in to inquire about it, the staff brought out the book and showed me the bottom, which seemed to have a dark shoe-type scuff. It was superficial and could have easily been removed with some sandpaper. I even asked if I could attempt to clear the mark off myself and submit it for re-inspection, but was told the verdict was not negotiable. Although the book was in excellent condition and the marking on the bottom did not penetrate into the pages, I was asked to pay $45 to replace it. I understand and value the policy of holding borrowers accountable for damaged books, but this experience seemed unnecessarily extreme. The book inspection process is heavily subjective and fear-inducing.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and orderly. Great selection of books.

Good children section, wide variety. Tons of computers, not usually a wait time. I've never used the snack bar, but my daighter always complains that they are pricey. Overall we love the place. Check out their community calendar. We have done family bingo and look forward to it. They always have kid activities going on. We came and watched story tellers and have gotten lady bugs for our garden. One of Ogdens gems for sure.
