We hit town for our anniversary weekend, and just went for a walk and by happenstance thunking to look at the river stopped in here as our first stop. So much helpful information. The lady running the desk was amazing and seemed to truly enjoy helping people find fun stuff to do. She was amazing.
Small, friendly people easy on and off
This is a restored ex-Milwaukee Road depot which houses a visitors bureau and waiting room. The building is kept very clean, including the restrooms, and has a lovely setting with flowers and trimmed hedges. There is short and long term parking on site and is served by Amtrak twice a day. There is a park next to it and is located adjacent to the Mississippi River.
