Neat place to visit. This is a beautiful place for a wedding! Nice hall with a high beam ceiling, a fireplace & kitchen to serve guests. So many photo opportunities including a caboose on the remaining original railroad tracks. Surrounded by fields.
This place is a great historical site with a lot of valuable lessons about the history of living in the country. The different stations show different aspects of farm life including actual homes, barns, and tools used over 80 years ago. Some highlights include the authentic blacksmith building and the homemade broom station. Overall, it is an ideal school field trip and a great place to learn about local history.
Fantastic facility!nThe interesting part is that it isn't messed with with a whole lot of people getting in your way.nI was there for a whole day and even with three cars in the parking lot there was never a problem with parking .
Visiting Ozaukee County Pioneer Village helped me to understand better what life was like for my ancestors who settled in northwest Illinois in the 1840s and 1850s. Plus the yearly Bluegrass event is pretty cool too!
what a fantastic park! So many fun events here! Our favorite is the WWII event in May each year. Very easy to get here!
