Move City Church

We heard rumors about this church and the leadership before we started to attend. However, we chose to attend and make our own opinion. It's unfortunate that even though we choose not to judge them off what others said, they were so is so judgmental and clickish that they fail to get to know the people that attend. We choose to leave after a few bad experiences with the leadership making it hard to not believe the rumors.

Love it here. Always have. There are no haters at Move City.

This morning one of the elders of the church. Very clearly disrespected me while I was checking in my kids. How can a church be teaching the word of God if the can't show basic human kindness to someone attending their church. He made me feel like an outsider. Honestly I don't really like this church in general, but my wife likes it here so I go and keep an open mind and continue to give them a chance. Ironically the elder actually gave a sermon today talking about equality.

Well pretty nice place. This is a family church very contemporary very family oriented. The pastor was nice I had no idea he was the pastor I talked to him for about 15 minutes one day real nice guy. Looks like a very contemporary church kind of like Vineyard Christian Fellowship and kind of like Calvary Chapel minus all the Calvary Chapel hype if you have a wife and children you would probably do well. I never did attend a service but this church did strike me as more of a family place than anything real contemporary they probably have great worship music the sermons are probably pretty good but you probably have to be pretty normal to go I Live 5 miles away from this church and I called and asked for a ride a few times and they said they could not help me then I bought a car and visited them and they were real welcoming that is pretty typical for all churches I would have to say my impression of this church is probably in the top 20% of all contemporary non denominational churches as far as Doctrine Outreach and Focus On Christ which is pretty rare in a church the focus is rarely on Jesus and usually on culture family community and politics this church seems like it might transcend much of that more than many Churches If you are a family with young children you will probably find this to be the very best in Sierra Vista and I've never attended a service this is just from me talking to the pastor. Now that I have a car I don't want to go to any church cuz I call Church all over the county for 8 months and they all said we can't help you and now that I have a car they all want me to come. Cultural Christianity is the norm at all churches I think this church is probably less like that than many but still it is a church and church attendance and church activities always come before Christ in any church I have ever been to anywhere. If you are really just looking for the Lord and for closer relationship with him the best thing you can do is go into your room close your door read the Bible and pray you will not find Christ in any church. But if you are family and looking for a safe place for your children free from many of the dangerous and harms in this world you will find that at this church more than most. Sorry for my sarcasm but Well I posted this review and the pastor just followed me on my Google Plus account. That tells me the pastor is interested and involved in his church and what is going on so I'm going to change my stars from 4 stars to 5 stars cuz I thought that was pretty rare I think this would be a great church for most normal people I'm just not a normal person

Loved my youth group, past tense. I still love my youth group and the people in there. I have made some very good friends but basically got kicked out of my youth group all because of one girl who doesn't like me and happens to be the pastors daughter. This situation has lead to her mom yelling at my mom and myself. It seems to be that we are not the first people she has drove away. So what if I have purple hair, wear combat boots and hang out with all the boys? That's just who I am. It doesn't change my love for God. I am very disappointed and heart broken with this church.
