Fox River Tours - Appleton

What a fun, interesting, and relaxing way to spend an evening. These guys really care about their city, river, customers, and environment (they even scooped up 3 floating water bottles!) Thanks Captain Dave and crew for drinks, conversations, education, and memorable experience!

Boat was super clean. Staff was very informative, friendly and knowledgeable. This isn't just a tourist boat ride. Everyone needs to go on this trip.

The confirmation email I received said the tour ends at the bistro at 425 water st which is the ONLY reason I parked there because I didn't know how I would get back to the parking lot by the boat landing otherwise. The ride ended at the boat landing, NOT the bistro as the confirmation stated! False advertising to get people to go to the bistro and bring in more business if you ask me since the same people own both. Boat was late getting back so missed the 8:40 pm bus by 4 minutes to get back to my car by the bistro. Owner said another comes at 8:50- another lie! They come every 30 minutes. I stood out there with a 7 year old for 25 minutes for the bus getting ate up by mosquitoes! Then had to ride around downtown bus route to get back to my car with 7 year old at 9:30 at night in a confined space with people going out to the bars who are at high risk for having the coronavirus! They put mine and my son's health at risk with their irresponsible actions! Not even from the area so I didn't have anyone I could call. No concern for my child's health. The ride ended at 8:40. I didn't get back to my car until like an hour later! As for the ride, the captain was nice and knowledgeable but the ride itself was very boring and uncomfortable. So bad that I'm contacting the BBB. Their email inaccuracies put us in a bad space and risked our health. I left them a voicemail and haven't received a response from them as of now.
