For a smaller bookstore, their book selection is vast and diverse. My personal favorite is the nature/hiking books section but they have everything from non fiction and fiction novels to magazines to children's books of all different levels. The storefront is quaint and even a bit easy to miss, but it is definitely worth visiting

Was here over the summer. Didn't care for the lack of mask by the clerk. I can understand not asking the locals to comply, but jeez don't get your customer's sick (or potential customers) I walked right out.

We used to visit the former Bookworld store at this location, then shopped here a couple times after it became the Shade Tree. We love to support local independent bookstores. The Shade Tree wasn't anything particularly special but was the only bookstore in the area. We will never set foot in here again after the owners have been blatantly disregarding basic public health advice to keep their customers and community safe during the pandemic. I'm sure this business isn't long for this world.
