Cochise College of Latter Day Saints. The good ole boy club is present here in the college administration except it’s a Mormon good ole boy club. The educational material is all over the place with no standardization except the basic accreditation requirements. Teachers are left to their own devices, IT is painful to work with, and the pay is sub par. For a school that’s been established for so long, it’s sad to see such a weak academic environment fostered by the leadership. I am an alumni and former employee at this school, so I don’t say these things lightly. There’s some really good apples there, but they’re likely to be pushed out by the bad.

There's an education here just waiting for you. The grounds are well kept and from a photographer's perspective, many photographs to be taken. If you are an older adult on retirement, the school offers reduced credit costs.

Honestly, I wish I could say that this place is great considering I live next to it and can walk there every day, but my experiences as Cochise College were...interesting, to say the least. Not once has anyone ever seemed to grasp that I've gone through their system not once, not twice, not even three times, but a total of nine different times. I went to do the same sequence of events over and over again and they still won't help me through the steps. I even had to correct an English teacher regarding grammar and spelling, which I find sad because they were teaching the GED/HSE course. Edit (new 3 out of 5 rating): I shouldn't have been as harsh as I was with my first review of this place. I'll admit that I was a little heated after walking there, day after hot day, always being told the same things over and over again regarding registration. I based my previous 1 out of 5 rating solely on the registration process and that's not fair. It's also not their fault since they're not the ones who created the system in which we live, but I digress. Cochise College is one of those places I'll always remember. Not only because I've had plenty of memories there, but also because of the environment. It has a cool campus with openly labeled buildings so it's easy to traverse without total confusion. I did learn that they've never had a PA system, which I found odd considering the size and reputation of Cochise College. That obviously wouldn't deter me from studying there, but I definitely will be more cautious with my belongings, especially a bike I've locked up (which is how I found out that they didn't have a PA system from one of their security guards). I've never had a negative experience with the staff and they really do seem like they're trying to help, even though it may seem to you personally that they're just trying to get around your issues. The have some great holiday events and other events, if that's your cup of tea.
