Wauwatosa Public Library

The Tosa library is the most valuable building in the town: the staff is very friendly and cares about its patrons, and the book selection astonishes. The workers also frequently update the book collection and promote intelligent selections on display. A card is free for Wauwatosa residents so there is every reason to save thousands over your lifetime with this magnificent service

First time back since Fall of 2019. I have missed books so much. My Kindle Fire is great but the 'tosa library and all libraries are just too good to pass up. I plan on visitinv more often even with shortened hours.

As an avid reader and a student I am always in need of books. One place I can go that I know will always have new books for me to read is the Wauwatosa Public Library. This library has a wide selection of books and a great staff always willing to help making it one of if not the best library ever.nFirstly the library has a great selection of books. Just go to the library and ask one of the librarians to recommend a book to you or ask them to help you find a book you already know of. If you're shy you could always just go upstairs and search the book or genre of the books your looking for. They have so many books but if they don't have it they will be sure to put it on hold for you or tell you of the nearest library that has the book you are looking for in stock. They also use the dewey decimal system so books can be easily found.nSecondly the library has some of the kindest staff members you’ll ever find. The librarians will drop everything they're doing just to help someone whether you ask or if they think you may need help there. The librarians also sometimes go to younger grade schools just to get younger children interested in reading and and learning the dewey decimal system. The cleaning crew always does a great job because I have never ever seen trash in the library. If you need any help just ask and someone there will be sure to help you.nThe Wauwatosa Public Library is one of the if not the best libraries ever due to its wide selection of books and kind staff members always looking to help.

Wonderful Library! However, they are allowing browsing and a Lady Sneezed all over the books and probably had COVID! They didn't seem to care. Everyone is touching everything! I left.

Love the Milwaukee country system, but this brunch is the best! The librarians are friendly and nice, and know their books. You can always ask for recommendations and they never fall to suggest a gem. The inventory is rich, well organized and easily accessible. Highly recommend
