It's a good old fashioned comic book store, which I find incredibly charming. They opened 5 min late and a very friendly grey cast came to immediately greet us (and there was a sign on the door to make sure you didn't accidentally let him out). They had all the new titles on one wall, good selection, and extensive back catalogs. The kids I had with me were thrilled with their $10 mystery boxes, where you get a whole pile of comics featuring a particular character or group but don't know what's in it until you buy it. We'll be back!
I like the fact that there is a new spot that I can go to and look for books. They usually have some stuff the other stores don’t BUT,nnthe last time i went was during a half off sale in the summer with a buddy of mine. I spent about 2 hours digging through boxes that are just around the corner from the register. On at least 3 different occasions each one of the employees came out to “look” at what I was doing. I felt like they were keeping an eye on me. Why do I think this? Because not ONCE did anybody say anything to me and when we made eye contact they would simply walk away.nnI understand that people want to protect their store so I suggest to either invest in a camera system or don’t make it so obvious that you’re trying to keep an eye on said person.nnRegardless, I’ll revisit if I am ever in the area.
Nice cozy comic book shop; collectibles, DVDs, games of all consoles, pre-owned consoles, and even really old board games sold here!! Say hello to Cooper the sweet shop cat, and give him some gentle love! Store is willing to order any books that are not typically ordered; a very interesting selection from other shops.
