As a child I always wanted to take piano lessons but it was not possible. I always said at some point in my adult life I would start. So, when I retired I started piano lessons with Annalies. It has been a challenging and rewarding experience. I have learned so much and continue to be impressed with Annalies' patience and encouragement. Every time I master some song or technique, she is quick to provide positive feedback. These lessons have had a side benefit. As I sing in a choir, I now can play and practice the more difficult melodies from the songs we are singing.
My family has one adult and one child taking lessons. Ms. Annalies is always willing to work with them on their learning styles. She schedules different themed recitals: musicals, jazz, songs from their heritage. Various techniques are used to expose students to numerous musical styles, and to help them reach their full potential.
All that matters to me, is my son thinks Ms. Annalies is a magical piano teacher, who loves him and helps him learn what he loves!
Being a 60 something retiree I decided to take piano lessons instead of just talking aboutnit. Always wanted to play but guess I was afraid to take the step. What a wonderful, mostnfortunate surprise to have learned of Hands in Harmony piano studio. Miss Annalies is morenthan professional. I am learning as a child would learn, baby steps.
