Safeway Pharmacy

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PHARMACY! The only pharmacy in this town with convinient hours but horrible service. Every time a prescription order is sent by my doctor I have to courtesy of calling them to make sure the order is placed and the insurance is on file. They tell me it'll be done in an hour to an hour in a half. I have the courtesy of giving them TWO hours and to show up and of course the medication is not ready because they don't have insurance my information on file after I have given them mine and my family's insurance information 7 TIMES!!

They take forever to fill prescriptions. Then tend to snotty with you when you check on prescriptions. They also never would text me when prescriptions were ready. They told it is because my cell number is not within their area. I had enough of Safeway's pharmacy. I moved my family to the Medicine Shoppe. Medicine Shoppe has been amazing for me so far. They actually text me when prescriptions are ready.

After transferring current prescriptions @ 12:00 pm I was told they'd be ready after 3 the following day, saw local Dr afterwards at 1:30, for flu/cold symptoms, she was 45 minutes late. Being immunity compromised, I saw local doctor who said she'd call in the prescriptions. Knowing this after about 15-20 minutes returned to find no scripts called in. Same pharmacy technician that took my information earlier saw me and said, "I told you tomorrow after 3." So I explained this was for a new prescription, I am sick. 10 minutes later, nothing is there, so pharmacist tell me it may be too soon. 3:30 now. I run more errands, and return @ 7 pm to have the same tech tell me there's nothing there still. I tried asking is it because I'm not in the system, and she ignores me. I ask again, and she finally says , " if it came through, we'd put you in." I asked her why they said it may be too soon, instead of asking me to check with my doctor, she says"I didn't!", No, the now the doctor is closed, she looks at who I've seen on the business card, and ask if she has after hours calls etc. "You have her card." she snaps. By the time the pharmacist comes to help she is full on rolling her eyes at me as I'm crying, and sick. She turns to the pharmacist and says that Dr does 24/7 care. I'm appalled.... I said " you just told me I had her card!" She continues to roll her eyes and argue, until I have to ask her to leave. Horrible woman, corporate will hear, and all scripts will go elsewhere. If I could give negative stars I would. Worst treatment ever.

Don't have many Rx, but they always don't even have it or not ready when they say it will be. Also too slow and rude. Wld give zero * if I could. Go elsewhere

Line takes forever.. Do not go in the afternoon. You will wait 35-45 minutes. Why don't they get a clue and staff more from 3-6.
