Well maintained asphalt trail with several small wood bridges overa few streams and lowlands.

Nice access to the Oak Leaf Trail but usually very crowded.

I see this portion of the Oak Leaf Trail has having 2 options: 1) you can walk south and be shaded for quite some time by trees on both sides, ending up crossing a few bridges (one fairly large one, nice to stop and watch it move) and entering a more open area coming up to Puetz (which is 1st the road north of the trail if you start on Hwy 100/Sports Complex) 2) walk north in fairly open spaces along creek, ending up at Rawson. It's one of my favorite spots to walk with the dog.
