In 2018 I got into an accident and I had AAA coverage. AAA couldn’t get a tow truck to remove my totaled car from the middle of 20th and Layton Avenue within an hour so the police said they were going to have to have the city remove my car. They said I would be charged for it also! I told this to AAA and they said to let them know what I will be charged and they will reimburse me. So I did so after the fact and they kept trying to Deny me a reimbursement for weeks until finally I had to have a very rude exchange with a supervisor who finally put it through. How could they not get a tow truck to me in the middle of the city of Milwaukee? Terrible. My car was totaled with me and my baby inside and it was not our fault as someone else went through a red light and ran into us and we had to stand on the street talking to AAA for so long and they ended up not helping us at all! If you read all the bad reviews on here you will notice they all are from people who needed help, which is what we are all paying for. So you pay it for years but then when you need them you’re screwed.

It's useless to have a AAA office when they can't do nothing about anything. I was charge $6 per mile for extra miles (10 miles) since I have the basic membership. I thought $6 is high since the average is $4. I called that office and the lady that answered me told me that she can't so anything about it. So pretty much the next time that private towing company can charge $100 for each extra mile. Ridiculous!!

While I am not a AAA member I will always return to AAA to help with my passport photo and international driver's license needs. They will take your passport photo and charge less than Walgreens! The office is set up to support social distancing and all employees and guests are expected to wear masks. Friendly service.
