Impressive organization and book selection. Windows overlooking a river with a bridge to the public park next door. There is a whole floor for juvenile and young adult. Another floor for adults and internet access stations. Clean modern restrooms.
This is an excellent library. The building itself is beautiful. From the outside it retains it's historic look blended with modern additions. It is set in a nice park with views of the Prairie River. I very pleasant and relaxing setting. Inside is very neat and tiny with plenty of seating and areas to gather with groups or find a place to be by yourself. Very helpful staff make it easy to find whatever resource you are looking for from their vast selection. Thoroughly modern, you can reserve books online and even download electronic books to read at your own leisure. They're also linked with a few other libraries so even if they don't have what you are looking for, they can usually get it in for you. Truly a gem for Merrill and a great asset for anyone in need of library services.
You have to wear a mask but the books are still good.
