Top Hat Taxi & Tours

I arrived on a train in Flagstaff and Top Hat was the only available option. Another couple grabbed the driver's attention before I did but they generously offered to share the fare with us. Upon arrival, the driver offered to make additional appointments based on our needs and we used them again. Even though we had a different driver each time, we enjoyed the ride and conversation thoroughly. These people operate a business that I want to see succeed during these challenging times and I would encourage anyone to support them.

My husband and I we're on our honeymoon, top hat was wonderful in picking us up from the train station. The problem however lays when we tried to return home. I called 14 hours in advance to make a reservation with the day time driver for a pick up at 3:30am. Apparently they don't communicate too well. Because when I called at 3:35 to ask were they were, the night time driver said he had no reservation down for us. We had to shell out, 2,500 dollars more for missing our train, and having to book a flight to make it back home to Iowa on time.

I reserved a taxi three days in advance from when I needed to leave my hotel. I waited fine hour in the hotel lobby after checking out of my room, but the ride NEVER CAME. I had to reschedule my flight and book another taxi, which came four hours after this disaster. It was an awful morning and I’m in such disbelief by how unprofessional this company is. Didn’t even answer the phone when I called.

No real dispatcher which means drivers will be answering calls while you are in the back seat! No meters so they will charge you whatever they think they can get from you. Drivers wear no masks and vehicles are never cleaned. They turn off their phone around 8:00pm and you will just reach a recording. Avoid at all costs!!!

Amazing service and friendly phone/dispatch. I was stranded in Williams with car issues and needed a part from Flagstaff. They went and picked up the part and drove it to the garage that was fixing my car. I can’t thank you enough. Also two days later I needed a receipt for my insurance and they were able to text one to me. Again ~ they went over and above!!! Best customer service ever. Thank you 😊
