I made a huge fall flower purchase this afternoon that took 4 carts to transport it to the outdoor check-out counter in the nursery. The cashier wanted me to place each plant on the counter for her to scan. I asked if she could please bring her scan gun out to the carts so that I wouldn't have to lift each huge plant to the counter. She told me it was easier if I brought each plant to her. I asked what she would do if someone bought a tree. She didn't answer. And for multiples of the same plant, it was difficult for her to comply with my suggestion to scan only the first item but multiple times vs me having to lift each item to her counter. It was one of the worse customer service experiences I've ever had. If a manager of this store reads this and cares, the cashier was the one on duty on Labor Day about 3:45pm. I look forward to making future plant purchases at any of the other nurseries in the area of which I know are happy for a customer's business, but never again at Steins.

Visited today. Very poor overall. Considering this is the main planting season the lack of stock was appalling. Many of the plants were dried out and scattered about and unorganized. Inside was not well stocked either. I thought I would give it another chance since I found the same situation last year. I will not waste my time again.nI really am shocked the difference between this location compared to the one in the Mayfair area.

Want good lasting yawn, garden, & home decorating this is the place to go. Need back yard birding food, house, lecture. Great supplies!

Not a single employee acknowledged me, I attempted to ask a Middle Aged female employee for help with getting a fall bow made for my wreath. She answered her cell phone and never came back

The manager was awful! I will not be returning to this particular Stein’s. I will also be advising my girlfriends on the board for Kenosha’s Secret Garden Walk. We have avidly shopped here for years. But this woman has offset me on this store for good. A piece of advice- water your plants and give the manager a little bit of customer service training if you plan on retaining any customer base.
