Not. Very. Good. Today. Unfortunately.
Small library with so much to offer! Huge dvd collection, new section is right when you walk in to the adult or children's area. I love that they have non-traditional library items to check out too. Kayaks, snowshoes, disc golf frisbees, mobile hotspot, kindle, ACT prep tablets, preloaded kids tablets, yard games, and explorer passes. The staff are friendly and helpful. They're willing to take time to help patrons and go that extra mile.

My husband and daughter visited the Palmyra library because they needed an encyclopedia for a school project. They were told by the librarian that nobody was supposed to know apparently that they have a secret back room with encyclopedias and books nobody can check out. How weird. In fact she questioned my husband about how he knew where they were...we have checked them out before! What they were able to obtain was a very poor copy of the page they needed for 15 cents! This was pointless because without the book she could not do the part of the assignment which included learning how to make a bibliography card. I was able to use my Kindle to download (for free) the Encyclopedia Britannica, 11th ed, Vol 3, part 1, slice 3 with the info we needed. This is exactly why customer service and tact is so important. We will not be coming back.
