Cathedral of St John

Just finished hearing the choir and orchestra perform a power-packed oratorio at St John's. The Messiah. The performance was on-point perfection, and also incorporated a little humor that was great for the family as well (Handel walking out from the audience was brilliant). There is nothing "local" about this local talent, if you know what I mean. As a professional vocalist I have seen countless performances of the Messiah in a variety of settings including at Popejoy and the Met, and this was easily in the top five. Yes, that good. Thank you, Polyphony. The director and each performer are to be commended.
