Awesome place to see....

My family and a group of close friends all traveled about an hour and half to Potosi on Labor Day. The place was packed with people at the front door and the hostess told us an hour wait before we would be seated. Even though they had open seats in the bar area and outside. We waited outside for about 40 minutes only to find out they where not seating anyone. The hostess kept telling us it would be another 20-30 minutes. Finally, my wife got an answer from the hostess explaining she was told to not seat anyone due to the kitchen being backed up with orders.nnIn other words they had zero help and no control of the restaurant. They could of been honest and turned us away at the door instead of wasting our time.nnIt is really sad, I live about an hour and half away and am always willing to travel to the Potosi brewery for the food, beer, and the museum.nAfter this experience I will not be returning.

Well Worth Seeing!nnI have taken a few brewery tours, but the museum is different. Although not exceptionally large, there is an excellent collection of advertising, marketing items (foam scrapers), and historical photos. The museum showcases more than just the Potosi Brewery.nnSufficient parking.nnFamily friendly.nnHandicap friendly.nnClean restrooms.

Fun little tour in Potosi to learn about the rich heritage of American beer producers. Something to see in every direction. Self guided. Multiple floors, you could spend hours here and not see everything.

Fun experience learned a lot about the Brewing process. The tour guide was a little misinformed. You said that the brewery closed in 1972 to send the corn in the wheat overseas for the war effort. I don't remember Vietnam receiving any corn or wheat from Wisconsin. The brewery was awesome they showed us every aspect of the Brewing process from the cooking of the mall the Hops to the brewing and the shipping
