Maryvale Dental Studio

This has been my dentist for three years, since I first moved to Arizona. And I will continued to only go to this dentist. Dr. Hoffman and is staff are EXTRA professional, nice, courtesy, and welcoming. But most importantly - they do an excellent job. The dental hygienist (Alaine) ALWAYS does an exceptional job at cleaning my teach with braces! She is very meticulous, thorough, and detailed. My teeth cleaning session are the best I've ever had! You can tell everyone here enjoys doing their jobs, and take pride in what they do. On top of that - they always play great 80's music! So you cannot beat that! When I became a new patient three years ago - the paperwork was not 10 pages, and it was easy and straight to the point. They are highly flexible with appointments too! I will continue to only see Dr. Hoffman and his staff as long as I am reside in Phoenix.

Embarrassingly I have not been to the dentist since Obama’s first term in office. Even worse? We work in IT for dental offices. 🤦🏼‍♀️ My mama drilled proper oral hygiene care into my brain coming up so at least I habitually brush daily and floss regularly. But that dang cavity appeared anyway. I confessed to my mom and she didn’t get upset; instead she referred me to the delightful Dr. Hofmann & staff at Maryvale Dental Care. And I mean, she really raved about them. So what the heck, let’s book an appointment and see. Delightful indeed. Lynn at the front desk was efficiently helpful and immediately worked me in; Elena (awesome Russian accent) scrubbed and cleaned my teeth to a sparkling polish; Karen was a sweetheart with a cute giggle and took care of the finishing touches - I opted for a flouride polish which is basically like a car wax for your teeth; it is intended to last a few months and offer increased protection and decreased tooth sensitivity. And then of course the kind Dr. Hofmann: Professional, courteous, knowledgeable with a wonderful bedside manner that put me right at ease. And no one chided me like a cross school marm for not visiting a dentist for years. Instead they took fine care of me and treated me with dignity. I actually ended up having TWO cavities 😡 so I opted to do the cleaning first and then return for my fillings. I don’t have insurance so everything is out of pocket *cringe* But as my mom has mentioned, Maryvale is a winner in this area too as they have an inter office plan that is like no other I’ve had (maybe you guys have but I haven’t). Basically $250 for the year gets you two Cleanings and two x-rays. Plus you get discounts on other treatments like my fillings which was 20% off! The last time I went to the dentist I had to pay thousands of dollars OOP for me and my hubby which took me a couple years to pay off. Not so with Maryvale. So if you’re on the fence, get off of it and make an appointment.

The dental practice is excellent. They do great work, the fees are very reasonable, and they can be trusted to tell you exactly what you really need to have done. The staff is very friendly and very good at what they do.

Amazing, caring and professional....the best experience I have had with a dentist in my life (more than 50 years)!!!! I wish I could give them 10 stars!!!

My first time going here was fast and helpful. They’re very kind and professional. I would definitely be coming back here.
