My dog, Journey, fell and injured her elbow late at night. I called the emergency doctor on call (Dr. Mather), who picked up immediately after one ring and was able to calm me down to help us make it through the night. The next morning as soon as the clinic opened I was able to get in on an emergency visit. Dr. Mather was more than wonderful and gentle with Journey. After xrays she was diagnosed with a broken elbow and would require surgery. Dr. Mather referred us to a board certified surgeon in Oakdale, where we headed immediately after leaving ECAH. A week after Journey's surgery, Dr. Mather called to follow up with us and see how Journey was doing. At Eau Claire Animal Hospital, Journey and I feel welcomed, loved and cared for each time we enter. We know we are not just another number there. Journey will be going to get her stitches out in a few days and although Dr. Mather does not work that day, she is planning to come see Journey. WE LOVE ECAH! Thank you for taking just great care of my first fur baby!

Big thank you to Dr. Gooden for your excellent care of Snoopy (and for treating her in a place that she is comfortable in. ) We so thank you for being so thoughtful and also a thanks for the person handling the phone calls. She is very nice too!.nnWanted to add the loving care she gave to Snoopy and us in her final hours...nWe couldn't have had a better Vet or better care. Thank you from Snoopy, Bob and Mary

Don't go to Eau Claire Animal Hospital, they kept changing my pet appointments and are so pricey. My husband was told an appt was available and I called 10 minutes later and said no surgeries were available at all that day. That happened twice. I'm a first time puppy owner and was concerned about various things. The receptionists kept telling me different things whether it's a valid concern and he should be seen and/or it's nothing. Didn't even check with a vet or get back to me. It was very frustrating so I had no idea what to think. Also I got an estimate for my dog's neuter appt and it RANGED from 365 to 586?! I would have liked this estimate broken down and explained to me and wanted to anticipate a more expected charge...nnThey have a very friendly staff, so I appreciated that.nnI went there for 8 years with all 3 of my pets (2 cats and 1 dog) and finally asked to be transferred to Oakwood Hills. They didn't even ask why or try to keep me as a customer. No effort for customer retention whatsoever.nnLooking forward to better customer service and communication for the price you pay.
