The owner, Dave, has a 'service-to-self' mentality. It seems he can only see the world through a monetary lens. Employees and customers are merely capital to him and 'time is money.' I would suggest working with a different company for your construction project. Perhaps one that maintains a 'service-to-others' business model and seeks to build relationships more than financial gain. Even if that other company has a higher bid, I believe it will be worth working with a business that perceives the world in a better way.

Hip and Ridge was a great company to work with. They were very timely and always informed me of when they would be at my house everyday. Rick and Tyler did amazing work on my ceiling and always answered my questions through the process. Everyday when they left, Rick and Tyler would always sweep the floor to make sure that I wouldn’t step on something. The only “bad” part about my experience was the electrician, Scott. He didn’t show up for several days and never called me or the company to let them know the project wasn’t finished. Michelle was very patient and understanding of the little hiccup we had at the end with the electrician and said we didn’t have to pay until the job was done and we were satisfied. If you’re looking for a company to help with your next home project, I would highly recommend them!

We had this company do some repair work after water damage and the quality of work was some of the worst I've ever seen. Avoid this company at all costs.

Hip and Ridge Construction did the siding on my grandparents house and the siding falls off below the windows, the J channel returns are short or non existent. The J channel is pieced together in 2 foot runs above the sliding class door. The window wrap cuts are sharp and crooked along with missing caulk, pencil marks and missing the bottom corners on the window wrap that are half filled with caulk. Not great finish work.
