This place has unique and nice art pieces. They are very friendly and helpful too.

This is a cute place to visit. It only costs $1 cash to get in. There are two rooms, the art gallery, with art and also gift shop type items (which you can pay for with a card) and the nature area complete with bees, turtles, fish, snakes, etc. It also features a children's play area and a 3-D map of the island.

The Art and Nature center is an old school house that is now used to display local art and native animals. It is a fun place for adults and children. You can learn about Washington Island natural history and hold snakes and see many other creatures.nThe center is open from mid June to mid September. There are many art and nature classes and hikes. If you come to Washington Island, don't miss the Art and Nature center.
