Went to Granny's for the first time this morning and could not have been more pleased. Ordered four cinnamon rolls and two pecan rolls. They were super fresh and delish! Rolls were super soft and the amount of icing was perfect for a portly fellow like myself. Might go back tomorrow while my wife sleeps. Shhhh don't tell her!

We ended up visiting Grandma’s Swedish Bakery because it was one of the few places that was open early on a Sunday morning. Definitely did not disappoint! We ordered a dozen pastries- four cherry turnovers, four cinnamon rolls, and four pecan rolls. The cinnamon rolls and pecan rolls are advertised as 1/2 pound each, and I must say that they lived up to and exceeded all expectations. The cherry turnovers were perfectly sweet with a hint of cinnamon and spice, the cinnamon rolls were HUGE with the perfect amount of frosting, and the famed pecan rolls were out of this world with their gooey, nutty topping and the sweet yeast flavor of the bread. Everyone was excited to dig in when we got back to the house we were staying at. Although it was a bit of a surprise to find this bakery inside of a resort, don’t overlook this treasure! All in all a fantastic stop to make and we will be back as soon as we finish our previous purchase!

We didn’t stay at the resort but stopped for the bakery which is a must! Such a quaint little spot for a little history, hot flavored coffee, and DELICIOUS baked goodies! Can’t beat the friendly staff and amazing homemade treats! Not to mention the beautiful views and even a little park for the kids!

Their bakery is incredible.. maybe cut back on how much sugar in their items but still wonderful!!
