Often referred to as the critical foundation of every child’s education, elementary school is what forms the platform for every child’s first steps into the world of formal education. This school has not afforded my child that privilege. Two teachers in particular has overlooked the desperate need of help for my daughter. I fear for my child's educational foundation. This school continues to ignore my desperate attempts to get the help they say she needs, although her reading has surpassed her grade level, she is continually getting low test scores in this subject. There needs to be some type of investigation done on this school. They are not dedicated to certain types of students. If I have to beg and plead with a teacher to help my child, something is extremely wrong. There is a huge lack of interest to educate my child, and I feel it is deliberate. I need help!!! :( I feel alone and out numbered. Dr. Chavez (Superintendent) philosophy is: Value students, by promoting and respecting diversity while, keeping the district's commitment to academic excellence and a quality education for each and every student. Sadly that is not the case with my child, in this school.
This school is AMAZING. The teachers and staff are all so helpful and caring. They are always available if you have any questions or conserns.
I went there a few years back and it has amazing teachers that help students learn #go eagles
teachers and pricipal are awesome people, they treat you like family, that is extra. school is grade A
Sunset is an A school because they work as a team, principal, teachers and staff. Mrs. Wells you are a great Leader
