Alta Loma Elementary School

Not very happy with the principal and assistant principal, they stick up for their teachers even when they are in the wrong, my child gets picked on by one of her teachers and they did nothing about it, the school math scores are so low that now they are making the kids learn math in their social studies class instead. My daughter was never taught cursive writing at this school and yet her teacher writes in cursive for the daily lessons! My child is falling behind in grades because of the teachers at this school

I LOVE THIS SCHOOL. I wish I could not leave here. I love everything there

This is my third year at this school. I love it. Good people, good teachers!!

The principal Ms hedges also vice principal are sad excuses to even be in the positions that they are in. Time to look for a different career path. I have a daughter and was being bullied everyday for the past couple weeks. Both myself and my daughter have voiced ourselves to the teacher (s), front staff, and principal and NOTHING has been done. They both stick up for the teachers rather than the children. Basically a boy in my daughters 7th grade class physically put his hands on her, hitting her multiple times. Dad actually takes the police to the front office -- here is what finally did it for me. NO ONE in the front office even attempted to seem or even act like they cared that my child was just hit by a boy. Even with a police office standing in the lobby! Oh wait, Ms Hedges did ask my daughter if she needed to talk. Vice principal calls me to not start the conversation off by "I received your voicemail" or "I am returning your call" noooo she starts the conversation off with "I have a few issues with your daughter" Simply appalled. Because I left both of these people a voicemail the week prior explaining the situation and my concerns. Not once did this woman even seem the least bit empathetic towards the situation but instead defend the teachers. Not one single apology for what my daughter had gone through. To end our experience the boy that hit my daughter --- was he suspended? Detention? Who knows. He left school everyday with a smile on his face. I was told by the principal that she would be "investigating what happened" WHAT IS THERE TO INVESTIGATE? She said she would call me back once it was complete. I NEVER EVEN GOT THE RESPECT OF A PHONE CALL. And today was the last day of school** Please parents, please I am begging you, don't put your child in a situation where if God forbid they are assaulted, or bullied, they will not have the adults, nor the principal on their side. To Ms Hedges and Ms Neve from here on out my family will keep you both in our prayers every day and pray that God has mercy on you both. Shame on you both. I don't ever want to know the disgusting feeling knowing you did not stick up for a child when they needed you. How do you sleep at night? How do either of you speak to the parent (s) of a child you neglected? I hope that at least this instance will wake you both up and realize that you both need to change for the sake of the kids.

Honestly I love the school not the teachers but the school and students I've been here for 6 years and love all of my fellow class mates
