Brandy is a warm, caring, and knowledgeable piano teacher.She tailors lessons to the abilities and needs of each student, teaching music theory with the practical playing of the piano. As a student Brandy always helps me achieve an understanding of the piece of music I’m working on. The studio is spacious and a inviting place to learn.
Brandy teaches my daughter piano and my son guitar. They love working with her and both consider her a great teacher. They enthusiastically look forward to their recitals and I love watching their talent grow under her tutelage. I couldn't be happier about the general love of music she inspires in them.
Prior to signing up with Brandy finding a guitar instructor for my daughter had been difficult. While previous instructors had been fine one moved and and another decided to stop teaching. After interviewing several instructors my daughter decided on Brandy. Her mix of rock and roll attitude, combined with a patient and straight forward teaching style has helped keep my daughters interest and grow her love of playing the guitar.nnBrandy is extremely organized and an excellent communicator. The quality of my daughter's playing continues to improve and her desire to practice has become less of a chore and something she 'sometimes' even embraces. I highly recommend Brandy, and believe she is a great role model for young women interested in playing an instrument.
My daughter has been taking piano lessons from Brandy for 6 years, and we couldn't be happier! In fact, my husband now takes guitar lessons from her too. She really personalizes the lessons- makes them fun in part by allowing the student to choose music that keeps them interested! She is a calm, encouraging teacher and really knows what she's doing!
I have been taking lessons with Brandy for over a year now. I have improved remarkably in that time. I credit Brandy for recognizing my weaknesses and directing me to work on exercises that proficiently developed my talent.
