After seeing a neighbor’s gorgeous Damascus kitchen knife, I ordered three for family members, and am delighted with them. Beautiful pattern, gorgeous handle with inset, very high quality. Damascus does need a different sharpening process than stainless, but my husband researched it and was able to sharpen them to his standards. Customer service was excellent and fast to respond to my questions. Will definitely order again from them.

My girlfriend purchased this knife for me as a gift. She saw the ad...”Made to perfection” it says. Feather etching on the blade..all these hours that supposedly went into the knife. This is what showed up. The blade is cracked 50% of the way through. The “feather etching” is just some random pattern. The blade edge was crudely sharpened. The knife blade was nearly 1” shorter than stated in the listing. Not to mention the handle had a large grinding hole in it that they filled with an epoxy resin. You be the judge. I posted the photos to their FB page. Does this even look like the same knife?! When I contacted them it was difficult to get a reply from them. I informed them that I had a trip coming up and needed a knife for the trip and I was assured it would be done in time. No communication or updates unless if I bugged them. Excuse after excuse only to find out the day before I left that “Sorry it’s in customs”. The knives aren’t even made here in the US. They’re cheaply made over seas and are then shipped. What a joke. He did refund my money and said “Keep the knife and use it”. That in itself is ridiculous. So you want me to use a knife that will eventually snap in half and could harm me? Talk about a liability nightmare. Give me a break. Do yourselves a favor and go onto any other knife makers page on FB and buy a knife made in the US. Buy one where you get the knife pictured for sale, not some cheap knock off.

I have collected knives for most of my life. I was at a knife show and saw a display and was curious to learn more. I discovered that they were based in Verona, Wisconsin and it turns out I had a business trip scheduled for Verona. I emailed them to ask if they had a store. Instead I received an invitation into their home shop. Naim is a true gentleman witha love for his craft. I left with more than I had planned on!
