Frank runs a great business. You get personalized training on the ground, and the flight instructors are patient and allow you to learn by doing. Ultimately I elected to leave this school because I work a very weird schedule, and because of it, will likely not get as a good of training as I got there, only so I could get greater flexibility to cope with my work schedule. If you work a semi normal schedule and are wanting to learn to fly, Flying Cacti is a great place to learn! I wish them the best going forward.

On track to obtain my Private Pilots License in a little more than a month and I can't express enough how grateful I am for all Flying Cacti has to offer. The fantastic flight instruction by Wes and the ease of scheduling/prompt responses by Frank have made this experience very enjoyable. Pair all of this with the most competitive price in Arizona, I consider myself very lucky to have found this school!

I have been flying with Flying Cacti for over two years. Frank runs a first class company. I fly his RV-12 every time I am in Phoenix and feel totally comfortable with the quality of maintenance and aircraft reliability. I needed 6 flight hours to boost my Air Force pilot selection scores, and I am so happy I chose this flight school over all others. Frank gave me amazing custom pricing to help me reach my goals in a way that wouldn't leave me broke like these other flight schools. The RV-12 and Lightning aircraft they fly out of Flying Cacti, LLC are well maintained and genuinely cared for by Frank and the other flight instructors. Wes worked with me to maximize my 6 flight hours, gave me an edge for when I go to flight training, and helped me gain even more confidence in the cockpit. The pricing is great, the aircraft are like new each time you fly them, and every instructor is extremely qualified, skilled, and experienced.
