I've had three children attend Jefferson, and their experiences have been positive. The teachers there are top notch. This year my eighth grade son is taking a technology class taught at Memorial High School right next door. The technology teacher comes over from Memorial to get the kids at Jefferson who are taking the class. That's an opportunity he has only because Jefferson is right across the parking lot from Memorial. My two older children who are now in high school and college were very well-prepared for high school thanks to their experience at Jefferson.
Jefferson has wonderful educators on its staff. They are doing amazing work despite a challenging building, budget cuts, and increasing demands on their time. We are one of a handful of MMSD schools implementing restorative justice circles with the YWCA. Plus, we should have classrooms with walls next year!
Great principle, Great staff! The building will look great with all the new improvements!
Mr. Kartz is the best teacher in the world everyone else sucks compared to him he is like the teaching god. He should be paid 1 million dollars a year and give trayton king all A's.
Some teachers are good but we learn absolutely pointless things in some classes. Also there are lots of fights and problems. I also don't like that there are no walls.
