My husband and I always wanted to do a hot air balloon ride. Purchasing tickets at a silent auction, at a church fundraiser for a Mexico Mission Trip, we were able to with another couple. Flying up and over Madison was amazing. The tour guide/ balloonist was a great narrater. The land went well. And the Mimosa was great! I would highly recommend doing this. We did this several years ago.
Tried to get something set up but every time we thought we’d be able to go -the guy kept canceling cause it was too windy! Ground winds would be nothing but the upper winds he claimed were way too strong!? Gave up after 2 years and 5 different flight dates and lucky enough finally got our money back from the organization that sold us the flight- different business than guy that owned the balloons- he supposedly “honored “ the gift certificate we got from the flight organization- but apparently weather was never good!? Would like to give the owner of the balloon a negative star but ya can’t leave a review without leaving one star!!
Never give this company money! My mom purchased a hot air balloon for my dad for their 25th anniversary. They traveled 3 hours to Madison once a year for 5 years and every time they arrived, they were told they could not fly. Even on beautiful sunny days the weather was still not good enough. They would never refund them.
