We put our kayaks in at this Lake Wingra Park. We had a great time on the water and it was pretty easy to unload and reload the kayaks. We discovered the next morning that we had left our paddles behind. I called and a very nice man said he had found them and they would be waiting for us to pick up. So nice to have that kind of service! We will definitely go back again.
The staff is super nice. Prices are affordable. They don't teach/coach you so be ready for an adventure. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to rent a kayak or any other equipments around the lake
My fiance and I come here all the time and have had so much fun. Our favorite is the tandem kayak and it has been a lifesaver during the quarantine period to get outside. Everyone we have met there has been very nice, and have all answered any questions we have had.
Wingra boats is always great! However, I wanted to take the time to applaud them on the safety precautions they’re taking during this time. It was super easy to book online. They did a great job having clear directions when arriving on how to stay apart and where to go next. I appreciated them requiring masks the whole time. Best and most affordable place to rent a kayak, paddle board, canoe etc. Only $15 for an hour and I use it for fishing. Lots of fish in the lake.nnI go there almost four times a week. Would recommend for fishing and overall kayaking.
