The Marquee is free to Union members and their guests, plays first-rate movies a little past their prime in a comfortable setting. And you can bring food and drinks in, but be careful about others' feelings. I love this place--I am a short person and I can see the screen from wherever I am.
Shhhhh! Pretty well kept secret except among UW students and faculty.
Not a lot of leg room when sitting down, but worth it to see the movies. I wasnt expecting the theatre to be so well maintained and big.
It looks amazing. The whole union south is impressive.
Free movies with several showings during the end of the week or weekend. Usually classics, documentaries, or Indies/themed film festivals. Occasional new movies, but get there early if that is the case.
