They carry a variety of alcohol other places don't. The staff is friendly. Shelves are marked so you can easily find the spirit of the night. I see why it's JJOs go-to. Trixie's picks are always good.

I will start off by saying I've previously had no issues buying wine at Trixie's, but my last experience was less than desirable.nI get up to the counter and the young guy asks me for my ID to which I already have pulled out at he turns it down. (MY REAL WISCONSIN DRIVER'S LICENSE.) At first I thought he was joking because he was the one who had previously checked me out and that this has never happened in all the times I've ever bought alcohol. I was a little confused at first but then I realized that he wasn't kidding so I left. I felt a little embarrassed and betrayed because I like listening to Trixie's Pick 6 on JJO and like to support local business. But what can you do; headed over to Woodman's and saved a few bucks. (Because it's not overpriced.) Maybe this review will spark some employee ID training. I'll definitely try Trixie's again for the Pick 6 but nothing else.

Great eastside liquor store! Good selection. Friendly no-nonsense staff. Will carry out to your car. Semi-sketchy neighborhood, so be vigilant. But the store is Covid clean and safe.

Always awesome. Love getting the pick 6. I only have 1 or 2 drinks a week, so it's nice to have variety.
