Best library staff!!! Just LOVE Hawthorne staff!!
This has been my local branch for 30 years, and I love it. Staff has changed a lot over that time, of course, but they've always been competent and helpful. I've volunteered at this branch for many years (along with my children) and am grateful for the opportunities. I'm also grateful to see our local challenged and homeless patrons treated with respect and compassion. It's not always easy dealing with the public (this I know from my own job), and institutions like libraries have to deal with whoever walks in the door. Thank you, Hawthorne staff, for being a pillar of our neighborhood.
Staff are always friendly, as well as helpful and accomodating. Its on the smaller side but still a nice resource for the neighborhood.
The staff go above and beyond. They are the kindest, most well read and knowledgeable people. Grateful for their good attitudes and their good hearts. Thanks!
