Gorgeous store, great products, and the owner is local & super passionate about the environment.nnI'm loving the locally made candles, dishwasher powder, laundry powder & the concentrated organic non-petroleum vinegar. You will also find lots of great gift-type things. Many items I looked at or purchased were locally made.nnShe has bags for filling, but bring your own container if you can. You may want larger containers for the laundry & dishwasher powder- protein powder or collagen powder containers may work well, plus you can reuse the scooper. Bring an old vinegar jug or a super clean laundry detergent jug for vinegar refills.
I love Green Life Trading Co! The store is beautiful but even better they make it so easy to be environmentally conscious with products we use every day. I have slowly been able to transition to a life with less waste. When I go into the store I am inspired to do more and have always been very happy with the products I've purchased. I especially love the stain stick, laundry sheets and shampoo / condition bars. I highly recommend checking out Green Life Trading Co.
Excellent experience shopping. I bought some Norwegian Gonks to give away for Christmas. The sales clerk was so nice and even gave me a free Christmas cactus. They were very friendly. What a great shopping trip to support local businesses. I wore my mask and of course used hand sanitizer during this pandemic as this is important, but I couldn't pass up visiting one of my favorite small businesses. I would encourage everyone to check it out and visit. There are beautiful holiday decorations, and beautiful plants and so much more.
Love this place! I'm so glad we finally have a zero waste store in Madison. Everyone that works here is so nice. If you have any questions about living your greenest life, they go out of their way to help you.
The cutest shop in Madison! Becoming more eco-friendly can sometimes feel intimidating, but Green Life Trading makes it easy with all of their amazing products and friendly, helpful staff. The only problem is that I want to buy everything in the store, even if I don't need it!
