I love that Erin can make me look fabulous each time i see her and her cuts are so wonderful, they transition well until it's time fur another cut. She is also fantastic with color - from a summer brighten up to a fun multi color palette.

Holy Toledo, this was the best haircut I’ve had in years. Erin was amazing and somehow figured out exactly what I wanted. I am very happy with how this turned out. Bonus points for excellent atmosphere and conversation!

If you need a short hair cut, they've got you covered. So few places can really make short hair look good and stand out. I love Erin, she's super fun and makes me look fantastic. What more could you want?

When I arrived right on time for my 10:30 appt, I wasn’t greeted in a normal way. It felt like I’d walked into someone’s party to which I hadn’t been invited. But when I explained I actually had an appointment, I was directed by Erin—who was supposed to be my stylist—to sit down. She introduced herself from the nearby chair while she was working on her client’s hair. I sat down. The client said softly to Erin, “Sorry,” presumably for exceeding the length of the appt, but that’s not her fault obviously. Erin said loudly, “I’m not! I knew this was going to take a long time!” Because this is a small shop, I’m new, and I’d already felt like I’d intruded where I wasn’t welcome, I said, “Oh, I’m in no hurry!” But I wondered, if she knew her service was going to exceed the time frame she’d booked for her client, why did she book me in that time frame?nnAnd 20 minutes passed. No acknowledgment of me. No offer of water, coffee, nothing. No gratitude for my patience. I didn’t exist. Or, worse. I felt they wanted me to leave.nnSo, I stood up and put on my coat. At that, Erin asked, “Are you cold?” I said no, “I’m leaving.” And I think the client asked, “You’re leaving?” And I left.nnI’m disappointed, of course. And it’s embarrassing to be treated so poorly. But now I know why my regular stylist is always booked and I shouldn’t look to cheat on her.nnErin and the other stylist treated me awfully. I felt like I was an intrusion on their time. And worse yet, they felt that I was so unimportant that wasting my time didn’t even need to be acknowledged. There was no effort to console me, there’s been no subsequent effort to contact me, there’s been no effort to correct any unintended behavior. So I’m left feeling like the employees purposely made me feel inconsequential and worthless.nnThis business is in my Tenney-Lapham neighborhood, which feels doubly disappointing.

I have curly hair that I’ve been trying to grow out (so it’s super long curly). I’ve always held on to length but have been contemplating getting a bob or a shorter cut for years. I walked into the salon with the plan on telling Charlene my thoughts but ultimately keeping the decision in her hands. I brought up the idea of getting a bob but I wasn’t sure how it would look curly (I imagined kind of odd). Charlene assured me that it would look good, and let me tell you, MY HAIR HAS NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD CURLY (AFTER ANY CUT!!!!) I am so in love with my hair, I only wish I was more enthusiastic while in the chair. Thank you Charlene!!!
