UPDATE: Pinkus has been following safety guidelines and mask requirements since the Dane County Mask Mandate went into effect. Thanks for making these changes!nnUnsafe COVID practices. :( I'll begin by saying that I LOVE Pinkus and have for over a decade. Great sandwiches and the staff is ALWAYS very friendly. But I don't feel safe going there anymore. I've visited several times since COVID-19 began and am surprised that not all employees (and very few customers) wear masks in such a tiny, unventilated space. This is the top way to prevent transmission, particularly in this student neighborhood where cases are spiking. Today the person who made my sandwich was wearing their mask improperly (nose exposed), wiped their gloved hands on their shirt several times while making the sandwich, and then another employee began stocking meat in the food prep area without a mask or gloves. It just wasn't safe. I don't think I'll go back until cases begin to decline in the county again. If you're higher-risk like me, I'd recommend going somewhere else for a while... :(

The garlic hummus deli sandwhich with the sub sauce definately worth the trip....favorite sandwhich there
