My wife and I discovered Susan Kay and Bayk Madison several months ago. We had never tried a Babka before, and only knew about them thanks to the famous Seinfeld episode! We are now practically Babka “connoisseurs”. We have tried at least 8 different flavors and are amazed at how consistently delicious they are. These are very labor intensive and complex. We’re impressed that she can so expertly introduce new flavors, both sweet and savory. Her website is top notch, and makes it very easy to order from. On top of that, Susan is such a nice person. We feel lucky we discovered her, and love supporting local businesses such as hers.
I live in Colorado and I wanted to send something special to my Madison pals. I found bayk through the Monroe Street Farmers Market website. I called and talked to Susan and it was such a pleasant experience. I checked out online and submitted the order and it was delivered to my friends within a few days. They were overjoyed to have something so delicious and beautiful delivered to their door. I highly recommend and I'll probably order again someday. Or maybe have one for myself the next time I visit Madison!

I have gotten two loaves of Babka recently.... the first was from the Monroe Street Market on Sunday. It was the PERFECT addition to Father's Day. Everyone LOVED it. Yesterday I got the special loaf, Chocolate with Toasted Pecan and Coconut for Babka with a Purpose day. WOW, seriously one of the best desserts I have ever had. This babka is as good as the real deal in NYC!! Thank you for making such a delicious product :)
