St Maria Goretti is a school full of devoted teachers and administration who truly care about the success of your child — not just academically, but emotionally as well. Our children will leave SMG with an excellent foundation to help guide them through challenges in their lives. I highly recommend SMG to families looking to be part of a wonderful school community.
We have had children at St. Maria Goretti for the past 8 years and we couldn't be happier with the choice we made to send them here. The teachers and staff are an amazing group, who are incredibly dedicated to ensuring that their students are prepared academically, socially, and emotionally for life after SMG. In addition there is a very strong sense of community among the students who attend SMG and their families. Older students are buddies with younger students and have chances throughout the year to spend time together. Students also get the chance to participate in service projects to help them understand that while they are part of a community at SMG, they are also part of a larger community. If you are looking for a school for your child/children, I would strongly recommend St Maria Goretti.
We drive 16 miles each way every day to send our child here. Very well organized, very well run school. Excellence in administration and in the classroom. Although as with any school, some teachers are much better than others. Sometimes teachers push harder than the kids think they can go, but help them along, not set them up to fail. No lazy, overpaid public-school teachers here! Even if you're not Catholic, and looking for a better-than-public-school education for a good price, check this place out.
