CI Pediatric Therapy Centers - McKee

CI takes advantage of desperate parents - that’s their entire business model. Megan, who runs the business office, misled (lied) to us about how much would be covered by our insurance (Quartz). Then we accrued over $3000 in debt to CI before they told us the total! Then we were given less than a month to start paying $700/month, with a threat not to see our kids anymore. This was told to me despite Megan knowing that I was just starting a new job and had been out-of-work.nnMy daughter is autistic and we will hopefully be eligible for Medicaid-based charity... which CI DOES NOT ACCEPT! Most therapists DO accept Medicaid. CI is simply greedy and compassionless. Our son is simply speech-delayed and not eligible, but we refuse to give CI any more money.nnPlease note that this is about the business aspect. The therapists there are pros who genuinely care, and Jessica (my kids’ speech therapist) is amazing. If any of them are able to find a similar job elsewhere, I would highly recommend it.nnBut today I had to deny my kids the attention that they need because the business office is compassionless and deceitful. With a little human understanding, my first full-sized paycheck this Saturday would have started paying them back. But instead of asking when I could pay, she named an arbitrary date that I had to accept on hope and blind faith.nnSo if you love your kids with special needs, please take them elsewhere... for their sake and yours!nnUPDATE: I just talked to Cheryl, the billing supervisor. No better outcome, and no flexibility whatsoever. Notice how few recent good reviews there are... everyone has wised up to CI.

I've been very impressed with CI. My kids have been attending therapy here for a few years and CI has gone above and beyond my expectations. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the therapists are knowledgeable and fun. It's been wonderful to witness my children grow and their abilities improve. My kids feel safe and comfortable at CI and look forward to their sessions.

We have been going to CI for more than 2 years. Every therapist we have worked with has been exceptional, and the environment is very accepting and friendly. Billing and administrative staff are also great.

The whole staff at the Ci Pediatric Therapy Center were amazing! They were always so helpful and always greeted us with a Smile! The therapists knew just how to get our son to do things. Our son is doing better than he was when we first came here for therapy! Thank you so much for giving our happy son back to us!!

I've never been disappointed by any of the therapists. We see an OT and a Speech Therapist. Sometimes, depending on the semester, we'll have to switch up the schedule and see someone else, but it is as if they never miss a beat. They are very good at communicating with one another and aligning my child's goals between the two. They are helpful with school situations, have worked with my child's teachers, and overall, have made me much more confident as a parent of a child with different needs. I'm very grateful to CI and all they have done for our family.
