Matt from 3rd gen completed our master bathroom gut remodel. Couldn't be happier with the quality of the work and professionalism along the way. Matt is extremely responsive, transparent, and remained flexible as this project occurred directly over the pandemic. I presented complex design elements like rehabilitation of historic beams, a single level tile floor, complex electrical needs, etc. and always felt my voice was heard throughout the process. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for a full remodel, or just a quick paint job. After years of unpleasant contractor experiences, this was a refreshing change of pace.
3rd Gen removed our wooden deck, and replaced it with a larger composite deck and pergola. It was mid-COVID, when we couldn't even get others to respond. They were responsive, guided us toward the look we wanted, and built a beautiful deck. Their crew was really courteous and professional at every step.
Had a porch railing and exterior painting project that were both completed by 3rd gen. I was happy to find that they were willing to work on both projects as I was having trouble finding takers. It was easy to communicate with them and I am very happy with the outcome.
Do not be fooled by this companies deck building. They just started doing decks last year and the decks they advertise on the website are not decks that they have built. They also have adds on Craigslist to just hire crews to build decks. Deck building is a craft that takes many years to master to make sure the decks stays looking the way it was built. Their decks are also priced very high. Almost $100 per sq/ft. They should be between $50-65.
