San Juan Title

Closing on my first home as a single woman was supposed to have been a joyous occasion. Although I am not unhappy overall with San Juan Title, I will not do business with them again if I can avoid it, and, if I must, I will specifically request to not have to deal with Dusty. Because of COVID-19 precautions, it was just Dusty and me. He spoke to me in title company jargon instead of in layman terms and did not make an attempt to speak to me in simple English. When I didn’t understand something and wanted to make a phone call for assistance, he very bluntly said he knew the individual I wanted to call, he didn’t like her, and that he refused to speak with her. Dusty’s demeanor was smug and superior, as if he was somehow doing me a huge favor. Even his apology for visibly upsetting me was a backhanded insult. And, on the way out of the building, he began speaking to another person about a closing he was going to be doing later that day, using derogatory terms with regard to the customer. I should not have been privy to that conversation, and I have no doubt he spoke badly about me after I left. I’m glad the process of purchasing my first home has been completed, and I must say everyone else involved has been stellar, both professional and friendly. But I would not recommend having to close with Dusty at San Juan Title.

Excellent service. Great experience on our house closing. Professional, social distancing and personable.

Forgot to give us our coleslaw, then proceeded to tell us we were lying and trying to get more. Food is always good though.

They set up the sale of some property for me. Did a good job... No problems.
