Wonderful jewelry store in the heart of downtown Portage. Our cat had managed to break an expensive white gold necklace and they advertise jewelry repairs. They took a small deposit and promisec the repair would be done and we could pick it up in three weeks. While we were there i looked at some rubys. Unlike the national stores, they sell natural colored gems like rubys and emeralds. They also do watch battery replacement.

The person who initially helped us in picking out a pair of matching wedding bands was not very helpful or patient. She seemed annoyed that we didn't already know what we wanted and ultimately turned us over to someone else to look over a counter at a computer screen. When we did finally decide on something we were told it would be 3 days to get our rings but we were guaranteed not more than a week. When we called to check after 5 days if they were in we were told they wouldn't be in for another 2 weeks! After that 2 weeks we went in with our receipt to see if they were in but no they weren't they'll have to check on them and get back to us. After they checked and said the order couldn't be found they finally said it should be at one of their other locations today....ok when can we get it? We'll just have to wait was their response. Unacceptable in my book plus they were irritated that we were even inquiring. Sorry to have spent thousands of dollars and used your time forever yours.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We were selling old jewelry and coins, they gave us a great price and they were very friendly.
