Wisconsin Dells Chamber of Commerce

With ALL the revenue plus the extra tax that the Dell's area brings in . . . I would like to know where ALL the money goes?? Because the Christmas lights absolutely suck. They look ancient and moth ridden. The street have sooo many pot holes so where does the money all go???

Booked four rooms for two nights in August at the River’s Edge on June 6, 2020. Received a copy of the Registration as a printout and an email confirming our registration with rooms and dates from Dionne Leonhardt also on June 6, 2020. On June 10, 2020, I received a call from Ms. Leonhardt informing me that the reservation we made would need to be cancelled because there was a three day minimum stay and we had only booked each room for two days. She explained that we had booked through the bait shop and they should not have booked our rooms for only two days. While I was talking with Ms. Leonhardt on the phone, she sent an email to me canceling all of our reservations. My wife and I looked through all of the literature we were given when we booked the rooms in the bait shop, and there was not a single reference to a three day minimum stay. In fact in their “Vacation Homes & Cottages Description and Rates Log Units” it specifically gives a weekly rate and a “Daily rate” with no mention of a three day minimum. The people in the bait shop I assume make quite a few reservations as they have access to the computer program that generates the bookings. They did not have a problem giving me bookings for four rooms for two nights each.nnOur family has been coming to the Dells for the past 25 years. After we booked with the River’s Edge, we had all family members hold the August dates. I was extremely unhappy when Ms. Leonhardt told me the reservations I had made would not be honored. How does the Wisconsin Dells Chamber of Commerce deal with a business that treats their customers as badly as we have been treated?
