I waited in line at least 15-20 minutes. There were only 2 employees at the counter, who would disappear for minutes at a time. Another employee stood off to the side and stared at us from behind the counter and didn't do anything. When you finally do get to the counter, they aren't very friendly and are very distracted, trying to do other things while you wait and watch them. I would avoid this place if possible.
Unfortunately I have to use this post office to receive packages as they will not deliver to my apartment. I have waited in line for up to an hour and a half! Packages have been lost. Older man and gray haired lady named Elizabeth need to retire. They clearly do not want to be there. I absolutely dread going to this post office! Worst customer service ever. Although there is an African American man who is awesome!! He can run circles around every other employee. I pray to get him when going in. Not that this review will make any changes, but at least I got to vent!
First of all the outside looks like it's in a rundown hobo neighborhood because it is. The inside is no better, display boards falling from the wall, dirty and just unsightly. Customer service is not too good either, these people are just counting the days until they retire so be warned do not anger them. I usually go out of my way not to use this place because you go Inside and wait for 20+ minutes every time. They really need to staff this location better. Then again they need to do everything better at this location. And people wonder why USPS is losing money.
This is a horrible location. I attempted to open a po box here and was bullied by the "greeter" lady. I was unhappy with her behavior and so I asked for the manager. Yet, I found that the manager was also disrespectful of customers and even condoned this employee's poor manner of treating customers. I was saddened to see other people (in addition to myself) being treated harshly. So, I definately didn't open a po box here. Do yourself a favor and preserve your sanity: go somewhere else. This bureaucratic and inefficient post office is sub-par even by the low post office standards. Thank goodness UPS will soon put the post office out of business. When that day comes, I hope the apathetic employees at this location get fired first.
20+ people in line, 1 USPS employee servicing them. 1 other employee assisted for about 5 mins. I left to go to UPS to mail my package, after being in line for 20 minutes. 2 things to note- this PO is not located in an affluent area; perhaps the USPS mgmt team thinks it's ok to provide poor service, but given that you are hemorrhaging money, you may want to focus on service to your customers. While I was standing in this PO location, I felt empathy towards that front line employee, until I happened to see at least a dozen vehicles parked in the secured parking area of the PO as I left, for UPS, where it took me less than 5 minutes to mail my package.
