Arizona Ombudsman - Citizens' Aide

This was my correspondence with John Wicus AZCOA for the Ombudsmens office Dear John Wicus , Ombudsmen AZDES office So her is a new update on the ongoing unresolved issues with the DES Unemployment office with my weekly benefits I sent copies of my benefits page. Now if you look closely is states that my benefits balance is $3,510.00 an then it states that benefits paid to me is $1,053.00. Now every week I file like this week's claim ending in 08/29/20 stats that my benefits balance is $1,053.00 and my benefits paid to me is $3,510.00 and this will be the 4th week I filed and have not received my benefits. I noticed that in the beginning of your email you say my name followed by "Ombudsmen AZDES office". Just to be clear, I am in no way affiliated with DES or the DES ombudsman office. I have been reaching out to the DES ombudsman office with your information in attempt to get you the relevant assistance, but I myself am not in any way a part of DES. I will include these pictured attachments with the update of your concern as I follow up with their office. Grider Mr. Grider, I do not know who told you I was your advocate but I believe you were misinformed. I have been sending your concerns through our channels as you have updated me and stressed that your case was urgent. I have still heard nothing from DES on your case. I cannot schedule a conference call with them because they are currently not responding to me about your case. I do not work for DES so I do not have any timeline as to when you or I will be able to hear back. -John Wicus So I believe this office and it's Aids are liars and cheats and should be looked in to by the Better Business Bureau

Did not help me. Did not even discuss the problem with me and then after 6 months sent an email, not even a call. Total waste of time. Program manager won't even call. I want to cry.

I've been contacting these people I get no response through emails.

Yvonne just told me the Ombudsmen department is not here to help me. They are here because of state legislation. Whatever that means. Wow, Arizona Governor Ducey, really? and sadly, not surprised!

I don't understand why the reviews are so low... they were extremely helpful to me. I got the same person each time I called, and, he called me back within 24 hours, every time I called, over the course of 3 months. They gave me the information I requested, plus more. I'm thankful.
