Dr. Doherty is one of the best doctors I have had the pleasure to meet. She is passionate about what she does and truly takes the time to listen and include YOU in your care and healing. I cannot stress this enough the importance of that. Having a SCI has been so difficult but having her on my team has been a gift.

I love Dr. Doherty. She is very thorough and makes a lot of informed suggestions for using natural remedies instead of just prescribing medicine, although she will prescribe medicines she feels will help you to gain a better healthy existence. Very health conscious about what types of foods you consume and exercise used in your daily life. She has a delightful persona and in my opinion is one of the better doctors I have seen over the years. She has a website that offers low cost meal plans and recipes that are healthier for you. I have entrusted the care of my son who is on the autism spectrum into her hands and have been extremely pleased with the care that she has provided him to date.

She prescribed a controversial medication to my fiance that she had no business prescribing after he pushed and pushed her to do it, not having his best interest in mind. The medication made him severely depressed to the point I was worried he may become suicidal. It put a huge mental strain on myself seeing him act this way. NO Dr should ever prescribe ANY medication just because their patient looked some information up on Dr Google and pressured them for it. This was a terrible representation of patients best interest in mind and a form of mal-practice in my eyes. When he finally stopped the medication, he was completely back to his normal self.
