We recently worked with Marnie at House Blend. We did not have a good experience with her. She did not take a lot of time to go through design ideas with us. She met with me for a few minutes and then later sent some lighting ideas. I let her know that I did not like all of the lights she had chosen. She then told me that she would send me the lighting websites and I could pick them out myself. I knew that I could find a lot of the same lights cheaper somewhere else, but I thought I was paying her more as she was supposed to take the time to help me find suitable lights, but apparently that was not the case. Also, when I did find a light I liked it was not available. She seemed very annoyed if I didn't like one of her lighting ideas and was uncomfortable to work with. There were also some lights that we decided that we did not like and asked her if we could return them. They were still in the box. She told us that we could not return them. We spent a few thousand dollars on lights from her and she would not let us return two of them. We experienced very poor customer service and do not recommend that you hire Marnie. Before hiring anyone make sure that you do a full check on them and get a listing of all clients that they have worked with.

Marnie has done a couple of projects for us and we are always totally thrilled with the results. She is fun, energetic and really listens well. We will be back with more business!

Marnie is awesome to work with! We came to her for some interior lights and ceiling fans when we first bought our house. Then we did exterior lighting, then the tile on our fireplace, then the tile and lighting in our bathroom, and soon our kitchen. We have a historic home and Marine has done a terrific job helping us make selections that match the character of our home.
