Farmington Social Security Office

UNACCEPTABLE! I got married was told I would have to MAIL in all my ORIGINAL documents and the application in order to legally change my name (thanks COVID). It's been over a month and I have not received my information back, so I called to check on the status... not only did the lady I spoke to tell me she doesn't have anything under my record, she YELLED it at me. I'm simply just trying to figure out where my documents (that prove my identity, may I add) are, and they are absolutely no help. I would give them zero stars if I could.

In 2016 the Farmington office refused me a copy of my own medical record. I had to write for permission, wait, pay. I was sold a cd with my records , but the medical doc wasn’t there - it was listed in the TOC, but not there. A year later I walked into a SS office in another state. I asked the clerk for the medical record, it was printed from his screen and handed to me. After I read this document I knew why Farmington was so scanky- the report was a typical hit piece meant to frighten and discredit. The Farmington office required I be evaluated by Steven Koenig. Then refused to provide a copy of the report. If what Koenig wrote had been true, I would be dead from the effects of a serious untreated illness. Thank god he was wrong, but the whole Farmington office colluded? Sounds crazy.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE THEY ARE RUDE DISRESPECTFUL AND PREJUDICE TO ANYONE THAT ISN'T NATIVE THAT'S THE THING I'M NATIVE THE EMPLOYEES DON'T CARE. THERE IS AN EMPLOYEE THAT IS SO RUDE AND HAS EVEN HAD NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS AND SHE IS STILL THERE.I HAVE HAD HER ENTER WRONG SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER FOR MY SON AS WELL AS PURPOSELY LOOSING MY SON'S PAPER WORK ON 3 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. I TRULY DESPISE THIS OFFICE I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS MANY ISSUES WITH AN SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICE IN MY LIFE GET A LIFE A REALIZE THAT YOU ARE NOT PRIVILEGED TO ACT BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE

Tht security guard is too extreme

Ridiculous wait times, don't follow their own guidelines and regulations, no further assistance, rude, Dont go here is you're any other race than Native they won't try and help you.
